WARSAW, Poland — Lech Walesa, the famous leader that is anti-communist played a historic part in decreasing communism in Poland and across Eastern Europe, had offered as being a compensated informant into the 1970s for similar communist regime that he later fought, based on papers revealed publicly Thursday.
It’s not yet clear just how harmful the revelations is to Walesa, whom won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1983 for their defiant opposition towards the communists and who became Poland’s very first democratically-elected president after the 1989 autumn of communism.
