Genting Gambles in Florida with Uncertain Results

They state money speaks, but in Genting Resorts World’s case, it’s perhaps not been speaking as loudly as the ongoing company might like.

Despite pouring $236 million into a 14-acre waterfront Miami spread back in 2011 and then sprinkling millions more into pressuring state politicians to ‘adapt’ a construction law to support a brand new $3 billion Resorts World Miami casino project, the Asian gambling conglomerate has largely met with absolutely nothing but resistance. Therefore they’ve now decided for a new, less direction that is cumbersome the Sunshine State: a slots-only task that would set them up with Gulfstream Park racetrack in Miami’s Key Biscayne area.

Antagonists Await

Of course, anytime a potential casino that is new appears in a state, the very first thing that happens is some kind of anti-gaming coalition forms; and Florida has been no exclusion compared to that guideline. Three English Soccer Players Suspended for Violation of Betting Rules

The soccer Association (FA) England’s governing human body for soccer has made a true point of cracking down harshly on players and staff members who violate guidelines about gambling on matches. Apparently, they’re ready to go very, really far down the league ladder to get and punish those who break those rules.

Wagering Rule Breaches

The FA punished three players from AFC Hayes for admitting to multiple breaches of their gambling rules. Each player was fined and suspended, with the punishments varying based on the true number of bets created by the players. Based on reports, none for the players are accused of betting on matches played by AFC Hayes, but they certainly were betting on games within leagues and tournaments on which these people were competing, which is against FA policy.

If you have not heard of AFC Hayes, that’s okay: it does not make you a bad soccer fan, as also many English fans have just heard the name in moving. Penn National Partners with Jamul Indian Village for California Casino

Penn National Gaming is getting into the California market by having a casino that is new in partnership with Jamul Indian Village, about 20 miles east of north park. The $360 million development still requires the blessing regarding the National Indian Gaming Commission for Penn to be approved as its management company, but that is mostly seen as a formality at this true point, and construction is already underway.

Penn National runs the chi-chi M Resort regarding the far south end of this nevada Strip; the very final casino, in fact, before you head off to Southern California.

Native Compact Place to Use
